Steven Brotman

Steve is an associate working in all aspects of civil litigation.  He has represented clients in the areas of residential foreclosure, commercial foreclosure, Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy, and general civil litigation.  He has represented hundreds of homeowners, fighting on their behalf in counties throughout the state.   He has handled trials and mediations, taken depositions of bank officers, and negotiated settlements for defendants in cases involving their properties and personal debt.

A native of South Florida, Steve received his B.S. in Journalism from the University of Florida, where he was a member of the Honors College.  He continued his studies there and earned his Juris Doctor from the Florida Levin College of Law, where he served as an officer of Florida Blue Key, Florida’s oldest and most prestigious leadership honorary.  While in Law School, he practiced law as a Certified Legal Intern in the Virgil Hawkins Civil Clinic.

Steve is admitted to practice before the state courts of Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.  He has previously served as an intern for the Fifth Judicial Circuit.

Steve has twice been featured on WPEC-TV 12 (CBS) regarding Bank of America and the foreclosure crisis.
